That’s right, it’s opening night for the Woodpeckers’ this season! Tonight the team will be starting their season at Segra Stadium in Fayetteville, North Carolina! Tonight, Friday, April 4th, 2025, the Fayetteville Woodpeckers will face the Lynchburg Hillcats. The Fayetteville Woodpeckers have quite the roster this season! Will you be attending the opening night game tonight?
The Woodpeckers’ Opening Day Roster 2025
The Fayetteville Woodpecker’s 27-man roster consists of 12 position players, and 15 pitchers. This includes the 17 returner players from last years season. There are 10 new faces who will be making their Single-A debut with Fayetteville this season! You may have caught an early glimpse of the Woodpeckers’ roster this past Wednesday, April 2 at the “One Ville” exhibition.

A New Sponsor for the Fayetteville Woodpeckers
The Woodpeckers also a brand new sponsor this season, Brad Halling American Whiskey Ko. (BHAWK)! This is a loca partnership, and now makes BHAWK an Official Craft Spirits sponsor for the team. Assistant General Manager, Pete Subsara, said that “Our collaboration will extend to all points of sale throughout the park that carry spirits, including the newly minted BHAWK Craft Cart located directly inside the main gates.”
