NASCAR is in Bristol, Tennesee today and Stage 1 results are in! Stage 1 flew by, with Bristol Motor Speedway being one of the shorter NASCAR tracks. With 500 laps in total for today’s race, drivers flew through the first stage. Kyle Larson owned the majority of the first of three stages. Tires are a big focus point today in conversations at today’s race.

The top 10 drivers raced furiously around the high banked track after easing into the first few laps, which again, most say are due to the tires. Today has been the first time that no caution flags came out in Stage 1 at Bristol Motor Speedway! That’s history right there. There is still a lot of laps left after Stage 1 comes to an end! There are currently 156 laps left to go of the 500! Stage 2 is already zooming by. The speed is key here today in such a small track, and the drivers are pushing their cars and tires. All the cars are close together, more so than most races due to the small and tight track.
