Just like that, Stage 2 results are in! Doesn’t it feel like we were just looking at the results for Stage 1? Once again, Bristol Motor Speedway is a very small track, and 500 sounds like a lot of laps, but really goes by quickly at this location. Kyle Larson dominated and was first place in Stage 1, and has continued to during Stage 2. Racers are pushing their cars to the limit in Stage 2!
Stage 2 results continue to amp up fans watching the race. With the excitement of a lugnut and tire coming off, and said tire bouncing into the back of another car in pit lane, Stage 2 brings excitement. Penalties continue to be handed out, and several for speeding so far. It’s NASCAR, sure, but there still are rules, and most for safety. Today has been the first time that no caution flags came out in Stage 1 at Bristol Motor Speedway! That’s history right there. Can you imagine being in the Goodyear blimp, seeing the race from an aerial standpoint. What a view that must be! No matter where you are watching from, it’s been an intensely fast first stage. Who Takes Victory Road After Stage 2 Results?
Larson still continues to dominate this race by far! However, Reddick made his way from starting towards the back end at the start of the race, into the top ten! While the final stage is the longest today, it is sure to fly by quickly just as the other two stages have! The drivers are getting edgy, we will see if Larson continues to hold first place for the rest of the race!
