And just like that, Stage 1 at the NASCAR FireKeepers Casino 400 is over! Today’s Cup Series race consists of a total of 200 laps, and the first stage comprises 45 laps. Drivers were three cars deep already in today’s Cup Series race before 10 laps were even completed! Chase Briscoe led the start of the race on the pole position today, but William Byron wasted no time coming to pass him early and make his way to first place early in the race.
Chris Buescher owned Stage 1 today, taking the first part of today’s NASCAR race by storm! Buescher originally started in fifth position when the race started.
