Yesterday, Sneaky Pete Hegseth and the 47th president brought their clown show to Quantico, Virginia, to address 800 top military brass and their senior staffs. This was a highly unusual meeting that is rarely, if ever, assembled. Situation commanders were pulled from their assignments, and the sheer assemblage of this many of the top military commanders in one location sparked numerous security alarms.

So why did Secretary Hegseth and the president call this august body together? To announce a multi-continent military initiative? No. Was it an announcement of promotions for some of the senior military leaders in the room? Nope. They assembled this important group to set back advancements in combat readiness, service morale, and personnel advancement 50 years.

Clueless Hegseth and Five Deferment Donald

Of course, these two are infinitely qualified to inspire and motivate our country’s premier military leaders. Sneaky Pete, the non-commandeer National Guard Major, leader of two veteran groups he propelled into bankruptcy, and axe-throwing multiple philanderer who is an accused rapist, and drunken frat boy partier. And the president who successfully secured five deferments at the height of the Vietnam War and besmirched the name of one of the United States’ premier war heroes, Senator John McCain.

These two stellar individuals called the meeting to browbeat these leaders of our armed services that the U.S, military had suffered through “decades of decay” and informing them that things were going to change. There would no longer be a tolerance for long-haired, bearded soldiers and fat admirals and generals.

They lectured further that the military had wasted years and money on diversity training and equal rights for female soldiers. And that no longer would the promotion of senior U.S. military personnel be based on their gender or the color of their skin. With this statement, Hegseth disparaged all of our non-white, non-male soldiers and their leaders.

And it Gets Worse

Military training standards would change to the extent that it would become difficult for female soldiers to qualify for combat duty. This despite the fact that training standards were never changed to make it easier for women to pass these tests. This comes after Hegseth and the president demoted several prominent black and female executive military leaders. And they also ushered in the renaming of U.S. military bases for Confederate generals who rebelled against their government in defense of the institution of slavery.

And to the shock of many, they proposed using troop deployments to U.S. cities as training grounds for our military personnel. And to the surprise of many, our biggest threats are not from Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, or any other foreign power. No. The biggest threat to the safety and sanctity of the United States is the enemy from within. According to the president, this is the radical left conspiracists who seek the destruction of the MAGA way of life. And the vile mention of the N-word by the president made me sick.

What it All Means

Let’s try to unwrap all this. Hegseth and the president brought 800 of the country’s top military leaders together, pulling them from critical assignments and risking the safety of everyone in the room to give them a browbeating about their physical conditions, combat readiness, and their “wokeness.” And for what? To demonstrate that their orange MAGA leader knows all and sees all. For he has famously once said, “I’m smarter than the generals.”

And lest you think that this was a one-sided affair where no one was allowed a dissenting opinion. Listen to the words of these two esteemed leaders. Hegseth, addressing the audience, said.

“If the words I’m speaking today are making your heart sink, then you should do the honorable thing and resign.”

And not to be outdone, our president said:

“If you don’t like what I’m saying, you can leave the room. Of course, there goes your rank, there goes your future. But you just feel nice and loose, okay?”
