Dana White, Donald Trimp, UFC, TKO

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White announced that he will start the matchmaking process for an upcoming White House card after the UFC 324 event this weekend. The UFC is celebrating America’s 250th birthday in a star-studded event on the South Lawn of the White House.

The patriotic punch-party will take place on Donald Trump’s 80th birthday, which also happens to be Flag Day, June 14, 2026. While no fights have been officially confirmed, it is speculated that fighters such as Conor McGregor, Alex Pereira, and Jon Jones could be on hand.

The Spectacle…

As far as mixed martial arts (MMA) goes, UFC is immensely popular, with a growing fanbase worldwide. It is no secret that President Donald Trump is a fan of the sport, not to mention his friendship with White. As with anything that President Trump endorses, this spectacle will not only be big; it will be the BIGGEST spectacle in UFC history. Some would even say “it will be YUGE.”

There is already interest swirling around this news like flies circling a steaming pile of manure… and while some critics would say the idea resembles the pile, others applaud the creativity. The fear of many is the political affiliation of White, and the location of the event could turn this into a giant MAGA rally, but White insists the event will be about the sport, not politics. For the sake of UFC, I hope this remains true. While it can be patriotic without being political, it is a thin line to cross between the two.

With different political opinions and feelings about Trump, ICE, MAGA, Greenland, and whatever political force pops up between now and June, White must be very careful to blur the lines that divide his roster and get his fighters to buy into the vision. White is a smart man, while personally, he supports Trump, as a business, UFC has remained unaffiliated and unaffected by politics. White views the event as a celebration of America and the growing success of the UFC brand.

Fantasy Booking the Card…

Booking for the White House event will require careful consideration of today’s American landscape. There will no doubt be backlash, strictly from its ties to our polarizing president. So, I took the liberty to take this task out of White’s hands with some fantasy booking with my mighty golden pencil. Fights so tantalizing and titillating that it would make former WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, cream in his pants… while counting a Brinks truck full of cash. So… without further ado, here is the six-fight card of monumental proportions.

Colby Covington vs Islam Makhachev (Champion): In our opening bout, we have two of the best fighters in the world facing off in an old-school, Cold War battle of good (USA) vs evil (Russia). This Welterweight Championship fight features an American challenger who openly supports President Trump versus a Russian champion. While Covington isn’t the top contender in the overall rankings, there is mutual interest in a fight between the two.

Amanda Nunes vs Kayla Harrison (Champion): This championship match was originally scheduled for this Saturday’s UFC 324 event, but due to a neck injury to reigning champion Harrison, it was postponed. She is expected to be able to fight by June, so this fight needs to happen.

Petr Yan (Champion) vs Sean O’Malley: Another potential USA vs Russia fight. If O’Malley wins this Saturday vs Song Yadong, he positions himself as a top contender for Yan’s bantamweight title. This matchup would be intriguing for both parties and fans alike. The two have a history; O’Malley beat Yan by decision in their first encounter, and Yan would like to avenge that loss.

Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz (PART 3): The rubber match. They have faced each other twice. In their first battle, Diaz handed McGregor his first loss; McGregor won their second fight. Their bouts are considered one of the biggest and best rivalries in the sport. McGregor hasn’t competed since suffering a broken leg and is poised to return to the octagon. The trilogy is a logical choice for his comeback. This match is a guaranteed money-maker… They are basically printing their own money at this point.

Jon Jones vs Alex Pereira (Champion): Jones has vocalized his interest in fighting on the card. Naturally, the perfect opponent for the MMA GOAT is current UFC light-heavyweight champion Pereira, who is one of the best fighters of this generation. Though Jones is a heavyweight, Pereira has shown interest in moving up to the heavyweight division, and he surely would add weight to fight Jones in June.

POTUS Donald Trump vs Greenland Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen: In a surprise impromptu Main Event, for Trump’s birthday, we get a turf war of sorts when President Trump fights inside the octagon in a winner-takes-all “Grapple for Greenland.” The winner of this bout gains control of Greenland; the loser gets deported by ICE.
