Senator Warren

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and the US Senate are catching up in negotiating with the Trump administration and their allies over the waste of government spending on the Iran Conflict. From Mar. 18-Mar. 26, members identified that Donald Trump and his entrusted subordinates were aggressively investing in military resources.

Senator Warren has participated in ongoing congressional hearings and has concluded that the president’s co-conspirators are actively creating rash diversions. Unfortunately, their false patriotic actions have cost the United States’ economy and national hospitality to plummet. Prices on goods and oil are rising, fearmongering is intensifying, and democracy is on the verge of being eradicated.

How Much Has the US Spent on the Iran War?

News networks have reported that the Trump administration has spent $2 billion USD per day on the conflict in Iran since Feb. 28. Their attacks have cost over 3,300 lives, including 13 US service members and the students who attended Shajareh Tayyebeh’s all-girls elementary school. According to the Center for American Progress, the US-Iran War is estimated to have cost $25 billion USD in expenses, and the debt could go higher if there is no ceasefire.

Senator Warren and the US Senate have demanded that President Trump consider providing relief funds for working families on Mar. 19. She also wants him to terminate his illegal tariffs to avoid sinking the US economy further, but he and his colleagues refuse to comply.

Conquering the Strait of Hormuz Reeks of Desperation

The Senator from Massachusetts has been actively participating in the Iran War hearings, seeking clarification on why the President is requesting U.S. allies to assist in his plan to open the Strait of Hormuz. On Mar. 26, she argued based on Trump’s reaction to US oil, “[…] When he sees gas prices skyrocket, Donald Trump changes his tune and starts begging our allies to help us to patrol [Hormuz]. And our partners said they want to, only if the fighting stops.”

Senator Warren interrogated US Strategic Commander Admiral Richard Correll as she questioned President Trump’s behavior regarding Russia and China’s declining support for the US. The two Eurasian nations have urged the “Prince of Peace” and Iran to find common ground. These countries refused to enter the conflict since Iran is one of their trading partners.

Another issue that Senator Warren mentioned is that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered his troops to bomb the South Pars gas field on Mar. 18. The facility contains the world’s largest natural gas supply, and the attack gravely threatened the global oil supply. The US government claimed they were not informed about the attack, yet they continue their alliance with Israel.

Admiral Correll struggled to offer a coherent answer after the Massachusetts senator pressed him, “So, Admiral, [does the war] increase strategic deterrence to have major partners undermining explicit US policy? […] What part [of the assessment] do you disagree with that Trump posted that we didn’t know and didn’t agree with what Netanyahu did, but he did it anyway? What part are you disagreeing with?”

The hearing became an embarrassment for the US Defense Department. The Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Roger Wicker, attempted to defuse the tension because Correll was either in no position to answer or was instructed to avoid confirming any of Senator Warren’s questions. She and her supportive Senators are continuing to press forward to dispel the fake news claims.

Senator Warren Sees the Deadliest Diversion isn’t Fooling Anyone

It’s officially been over a year since President Donald Trump returned to the White House and successfully created a chaotic and hostile environment in the United States. The politicians opposing his ideas, including Senator Warren, have been battling his unconstitutional tyranny. Even after he was charged with sedition for his role in the Jan. 6 Riot and the Supreme Court deemed his tariffs illegal, he continues to try to divert the nation with one of the most dangerous distractions in US history.

Within months, the US National Survey reported the latest Trump disapproval rate of 62%. Many are still waiting for the 25th Amendment to be invoked, for his Department of Justice team is continuing to protect him from his past crimes.

A majority of Americans agreed that the Iran War is a diversion from the exposure of the information in the Jeffrey Epstein files of his sex trafficking ring, including the president’s involvement. Another lawsuit awaits him and Google for wrongful disclosure and re-publication of their personal information connected to the case.

He further demonstrated xenophobia and racism by dispatching ICE to airports to keep terrorists out. However, his defense team already tarnished their reputation by abusing their authority, including at the Milano Winter Olympics. Congress has refused to fund ICE and Customs and Border Protection until requested changes are made, despite their being part of the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Senator Warren’s ally, Chuck Schumer (D-New York), said, “This is exactly what we wanted. In the wake of the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, Senator Democrats were clear. No blank checks for a lawless ICE and Border Patrol.”
