Kylie Jenner

A former housekeeper of Kylie Jenner has sued the reality star, claiming she was subjected to harassment and discrimination while working on her properties, and it went ignored.

Lawsuit Against Kylie Jenner

Angelica Hernandez Vasquez filed the complaint against the 28-year-old, who was named the world’s youngest “self-made” billionaire at 21 after growing up in a privileged, fame-filled household and starting her own cosmetic line.

Vasquez also named several other parties in the suit filed on April 17, 2026, including Tri Star Services LLC and La Maison Family Services. She said she was hired as a housekeeper in September 2024 and instructed to service Jenner’s Beverly Hills residence. She was on the property for only seven days before transferring to another property in Hidden Hills.

Angela Vasquez Claims Harassment

Vasquez reported to the head housekeeper, Patsy, and Elsi. “From her first day at the Hidden Hills residence, Plaintiff was treated with hostility and exclusion,” the complaint states. “Throughout her employment, Plaintiff was subjected to severe and pervasive harassment” from Jenner’s agents and the other housekeepers.

The complaint alleges that the “most difficult and undesirable tasks” were given to Vasquez to publicly belittle and shame her. It states she suffered abusive treatment during her time at Jenner’s property. She said her supervisors would snap their fingers at her, wrongfully accuse her of misconduct, and demand to go through her phone.

Vasquez, a native Salvadoran and of Catholic faith, alleged she was subjected to “discriminatory and derogatory” statements at the hands of the other employees. They would make unwarranted remarks about her national origin, religion, and immigration status, including one stating, “Catholics are horrible people.

The Unchecked Situation Escalates

Vasquez claims that Elsi and Patsy mocked and intimidated her regarding her immigration status, bragging that they were true U.S. citizens. When they met with supervisors to discuss the issues they were having, Vasquez said the two “mocked and interrupted her, and no remedial action was taken by any supervisors who witnessed this. Plaintiff later learned the meeting had been secretly recorded without her permission.

Unsurprisingly, things were not resolved after that meeting. Vasquez alleged in the complaint that afterward, things escalated to physical violence in March 2025. Her supervisor “threw hangers at [her] feet while reprimanding her.

Vasquez claims she began exhibiting symptoms in connection with post-traumatic stress disorder and took medical leave in July 2025. When she returned shortly after, things continued on the same path, so she resigned on August 4, 2025.

The lawsuit does not mention Jenner inserting herself in the harassment or claiming that she said anything derogatory or discriminatory. However, it does allege that Jenner and the other named companies did not do anything to stop the behavior of those whom they employed and allowed in the star’s home.

Housekeeper Seeks Damages

It does allege that they failed to pay their workers wages in accordance with California law, in which Vasquez is seeking restitution. Some violations in particular include failure to pay overtime, failure to allow employees rest and designated meal times, and failure to reimburse business expenses.

Jenner has not commented on the lawsuit or made an official statement in response to the allegations. Unfortunately, this is a believable situation, given the parties involved and the current state of immigration in this country. It is horrendous to believe grown adults would be bullying or harassing someone in the same situation.

Vasquez is also seeking punitive damages for the pain and suffering that she endured during her employment at Jenner’s properties.

“Self-Made” Billionaire

Kylie Jenner is an impressionable media personality, a successful businesswoman, and a strong socialite who starred in her family’s show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” from 2007 to 2021 and their Hulu series in 2022. She founded Kylie Cosmetics after realizing at age 16 that she had influence when people began copying her hair and fashion style.
