Raising Cane's, World Cup, Times Square

Raising Cane’s has done plenty of events for athletics throughout the years, and Cane’s has been heavily involved in supporting Team USA across various sports. The Times Square flagship has been transformed for many such occasions, including a recent celebration of the men’s and women’s US Hockey teams that took home gold medals in the Olympics.

For now, this celebration is preemptive, and it’s a way for fans from every nation to celebrate the event before and during the competition. Whether you’re rooting on the home team or a big fan of the sport in general, this celebration is for you.

Beginning today and going through July 19, soccer fans can get hyped for the World Cup by visiting the Raising Cane’s Global Flagship in Times Square. There, for a limited time, the restaurant has been subjected to a soccer-themed transformation, complete with international flag-inspired graphics, new digital signage, and huge, loving displays of the world’s game.

Cane III, the official mascot and namesake of the restaurant, is featured heavily with a Canes FC sweater that is absolutely perfect for the occasion. Also involved is USA Soccer legend Landon Donovan. He can be spotted at tons of Raising Cane’s restaurants across the country with decorations, themed menus, TV spots, videos, social media posts, and plenty more. He even recently worked a shift at the Los Angeles restaurant, too.

If that’s not enough, Cane’s has also dropped a stellar line of merchandise for the World Cup. You can find it here, but we’ll spoil it for you: there are Cane’s FC sweaters, bucket hats, a flag soccer ball, shirts, windbreakers, and more. There’s definitely a piece of Cane’s merchandise for everyone.

Of course, Raising Cane’s is more than ready to cater your Cup watch parties. So if you can’t get to the Times Square restaurant for the ultimate soccer celebration, you can still enjoy some Cane’s sauce and chicken fingers while you watch world-class athletes battle it out for national pride.

The World Cup is going to kick off this week, with the best soccer players on the planet coming together to compete for the ultimate prize. For the first time since 1994, the tournament will be held on American soil. Matches are to be played in 16 cities across the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

Among them are Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York. So, if you’re heading out to watch Vinicius Jr., Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Kai Havertz, Jude Bellingham, and others in matches located in New York, you should absolutely stop by the Times Square Raising Cane’s to celebrate.

It’s going to be a huge event for Americans. For the first time in over two decades, the World Cup is at home, and this has been dubbed the golden generation of American soccer. It’s supposed to be the best collection of talent the nation has ever had.

How well they’ll do at the World Cup remains to be seen, but it’s an important one for fans and players alike, no matter what happens.

Conclusion

Soccer may not be the most popular sport in America, but it’s about to take center stage with the World Cup. Hosted in America (and Canada and Mexico) for the first time in 22 years, it’s the perfect time to celebrate the world’s game, and Raising Cane’s has done just that by transforming the Times Square flagship to honor the occasion.
