Happy Virgo season! This notorious Earth sign is known for working hard (by any means necessary) and getting to the results that they know are possible. However, if you’ve been following some of our other astrology articles, you probably already know that each season impacts each sign in a different way. Cancers, this Virgo season, it’s time to trust your own voice, and take note of the other voices around you that influence how you communicate.
A Focus on Your Third House
If you’re a Cancer rising in your birth chart, this Virgo season is putting a spotlight on your third house: the house of communication. When we talk about communication in this house, we’re not just focusing on verbal communication.
Because the third house also rules communication and the technology that one uses to transmit knowledge. Phones, letters, gossip over coffee with your favorite homegirl are under the third house. And media, television, radios, the internet and newsletters are all mass communications in the third house.
Now is a good time to speak your mind and send that text that you’ve re-written over and over (in true Cancerian fashion. Be warned though, there’s always a shadow side when it comes to astrology. Breaking your phones, a laptop suddenly not working, important messages that never get sent.
In addition, auto repairs are also shadow issues (the third house also rules transportation) or any general inconvenience that has to do with you speaking can happen. Respectfully, Cancer, watch your mouth when you speak your mind during this Virgo season.
Say What You Mean and Trust It
Cancers have a hard time believing in themselves. It’s not always a confidence issue, it’s just that they’re so empathetic. Cancers like to weigh in their own emotions along with others and can see the good and bad in every issue or person. Even when they’ve been wronged by another, a Cancer will consider what they said or did that could’ve been expressed better or handled in a different way.
This season, Cancer, I’m going to gently ask you to stop that. Saying what you mean and believing that your words hold truth and wisdom is an example of self-love. While you’re so busy worrying about whether or not you’ll hurt someone’s feelings by expressing yourself, have you considered how you will feel by holding everything in?
Discernment During Virgo Season
You’re already intuitive, Cancer. Luckily, this season is going to turn that up 100%. Usually, you ignore the little things that you consider unimportant or not worth you’re emotional energy. But during Virgo season, you can’t help but notice the little details. Whether it be a work email that lacks clarity, or a conversation where someone said something that you thought was a little off, you’re Cancer radar is going off. You are seeing situations logically (like a Virgo) rather than only considering the worst-case scenarios.
Remember, you still have Mars, the planet of action, transiting through your sign Cancer until September 28. You’re about to be a lot busier than usual, Cancer. Luckily, you feel energized and bolder. You may relate more to your core identity, and you could be quicker to initiate matters that might otherwise cause you to take shelter in your shell.
All in all, water and Earth go together. The grounded sign that is Virgo is going to help you take off the rose-colored lenses and see things exactly as they are. This isn’t a negative thing, Cancer, you just have to be bold enough to face reality. It’s not as scary as you think.
