The 77th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were broadcast live from Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater on Sunday night. The awards celebrate the best in television from the past year. Comedian Nate Bargatze hosted this year’s Emmys for the first time. In addition, he received two nominations for his variety special, “Your Friend, Nate Bargatze.”

Netflix’s “Adolescence” won six awards, and star Owen Cooper became the youngest male winner in any acting category. Including the nine Creative Arts Emmys it received last week, Apple TV+’s “The Studio” picked up four more, making it the most Emmy-awarded comedy ever. And HBO’s “The Pitt,” took home three Emmys, including an Emmy for Noah Wyle as outstanding lead actor in a drama series winner.
