Arch Manning is one of the most exciting players in college football. The Texas Longhorns star and nephew of NFL legends Peyton and Eli Manning was the Heisman favorite to open the season and is still a real candidate for some team in next year’s first round of the NFL draft. While he’s not on the field throwing passes, though, he’s often off the field giving things away, like he did with Raising Cane’s for the Miracle Children’s Foundation on Sunday afternoon.
Arch Manning Gives Away iPads and More with Raising Cane’s

On Sunday, Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning held a meet-and-greet with patients at the Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas. There, he passed out well over 100 iPads, Raising Cane’s backpacks and other themed apparel and items. Furthermore, the chicken restaurant made a $10,000 donation to the foundation in order to help purchase those iPads and other items. To top it all off, the Raising Cane’s food truck stopped by to ensure everyone there had plenty to eat.
Per On3, Manning said at the event, “Childhood cancer holds a special spot in my heart. These kids are the real heroes. It was just a blessing to come out here and do anything I can to put a smile on their face.” It’s clear that the former five-star recruit cares a lot about what he can off the field.
Manning is partnered with the chain co-founded by Todd Graves through an NIL deal he signed. He announced it during the Manning Passing Academy this offseason, and then he later starred in a commercial for Cane’s with his grandfather and father as well as another college QB standout: LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier. Now, he’s back with the restaurant to help support a good cause.
The QB did hit a bump in the road. After sitting for two seasons under Quinn Ewers, 2025 marked his time to shine. Texas was the preseason number one team and Manning was the Heisman favorite and the favorite to go first overall next spring to the NFL. He struggled in Week 1 against the defending champion Ohio State Buckeyes.
Then, he rebounded, but he also hit a snag against UTEP, completing just 44% of his passes for one touchdown and one interception. Last weekend against Sam Houston State, Manning was back in top form, throwing for 309 yards (on a sterling 85.7% completion rating) and three touchdowns in a 55-0 win.
Despite the ups and downs the young QB has faced already this year, he’s still committed to making a difference, as evidenced by the Cane’s event. The Longhorns QB has had some tough moments, but he hasn’t allowed them to follow him off the field.
This is something that’s important to CEO Todd Graves as well. Charity work has become a staple of the restaurant’s identity, constantly working with the community to give things away, better their lives, and so much more. Manning isn’t the first high-profile athlete or celebrity to get involved with Graves and Cane’s to help make a difference, and he won’t be the last.
Conclusion
Arch Manning is one of the most notable names in football, but he’s putting that name recognition to good use. Giving away iPads to children in need may not help the Texas Longhorns reach their goal of a national title this season, but it certainly does help those children and gives Manning something bigger than football to aspire to. It’s hard to imagine a better partner than Raising Cane’s, given the prolific charity work that has permeated everything they’ve done in the last few years, in this endeavor for Manning and others like him.
