halloween, costume, October

It is officially the spooky season! October is here, which means playoff baseball, scary movies, and our favorite holiday, Halloween! Now you may start to feel the pressure of finding the perfect costume. Are you the type to go to the pop-up party store, or do you like crafting your costume from scratch? Well, if you’re struggling to figure out something that will make you stand out, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. This small list will range from cute ideas to absolutely absurd ones that will definitely make you stand out at any party you decide to attend!

1. The Addams Family

Whether you have a big group going out or you’re riding solo, the Addams Family is a great choice this year for a costume. With the recent success of the Netflix series “Wednesday,” there are plenty of options when it comes to the quirky family. A single female could go as Wednesday, or if you want to include your significant other in a couples costume, you can always go as Gomez and Morticia Addams.

Halloween allows creativity to thrive. So if those first two options are tickling your fancy, then get more creative. You could go as the newly announced spinoff, showing your love for Uncle Fester. Alternatively, you could create a costume to resemble Cousin It, covered from head to toe in hair. Now, if I got your juices going, you could construct a costume to go as the severed hand named Thing.

2. The Phillies Karen

I am praying that I see someone dressed as the “Phillies Karen” this Halloween! We have all seen the clip by now of the woman demanding a home run ball from a father who got it for his son. Luckily for the child, both ball clubs treated him to plenty of gifts after the traumatic experience he went through. Unfortunately for the “Phillies Karen,” life probably isn’t as easy these days.

Go get yourself a short silver or blonde wig, a Phillies shirt or jersey, some jeans, glasses, a baseball, and voila, you are the Phillies Karen! If you want to guarantee victory in any kind of Halloween costume contest, get yourself a crying kid to follow you around, or simply put a crying doll on a leash behind and drag that SOB around all night!

3. Diddy or The Diddler

I labeled this as “adult costumes” for a reason! I know a lot of people have been affected by the actions of one Sean “Diddy” Combs, but hey, sometimes you have to laugh at the ridiculousness of some situations. Grab yourself a white baseball cap, some nice-looking fake designer shades, wear a white robe, and get plenty of baby oil. Just like that, you transformed into Diddy.

If you want to step it up a bit, go as the Diddler! Take the concept of being Diddy for Halloween and make him a super villain by adding a cape and maybe a Bad Boy shirt. This is one that can be created and interpreted by whoever makes the costume.

4. Zombie Hulk Hogan

We have seen the immortal Hulk Hogan with red and yellow running through his veins, and we have also witnessed Hollywood Hogan in all black. Well, with his recent passing a few months ago, could we see Zombie Hulk Hogan? Fans of “The Walking Dead”, or “Zombieland”, so we know the rules of surviving a zombie apocalypse. But “Whatcha gonna do, brother?” When Zombie Hulk Hogan and his 24-inch serpents run wild on you on Halloween?

5. AutoCorrect Gone Wrong or OnlyFans Profile

Aren’t you sick and tired of typing certain words just to get autocorrected? I know I am, so get back in a small way by dressing up as the “Autocorrect gone wrong!” Get a poster board that looks like a message thread between two people. You can write “duck” multiple times until the F word appears, and write “damn autocorrect” at the end.

The other idea is to create a fake OnlyFans profile using that poster board. Cut out a square to put your face through (imagine “Vegas Vacation” when Rusty gets the fake ID). Fill out your profile around the board, including what you charge for your feet pics!

Final Thoughts

There are plenty of ideas for you to be super creative during the Halloween season. So don’t just put a sheet over your head pretending to be a ghost. Put some effort in and put your uniqueness on display. This is a lot of people’s favorite time of year, and Halloween is the icing on the cake for adults to act like kids one time out of the year!
