Minnesota Timberwolves, NBA, Julius Randle

The Minnesota Timberwolves win their second game in a row. They defeated the Dallas Mavericks tonight, 118-105. This is a great way to continue their momentum. After losing five straight, they’ve strung together a nice two-game winning streak against the Golden State Warriors three nights ago and the Mavs tonight. Let’s dive into their nice win!

The T-Wolves had a great night tonight. They beat up on what’s left of the Dallas Mavericks 118-105. Star forward Julius Randle had a phenomenal night with 31 points on a very efficient 57.1 shooting percentage. Normally, it’s the team’s superstar, Anthony Edwards, who dominates games. Tonight, it was Randle. When you have two players who can single-handedly take over games, that’s one of the best scenarios to be in.

The 2024 6th Man of the Year winner, Naz Reid, was the second leading scorer with 23 points. He also grabbed rebounds, which also led the team. After their two-game winning streak, it’s been nice to see this young team get back into the win column. With them sitting in the 6th seed in the Western Conference, they’re only three games back of the two seed in the West. I wouldn’t be surprised if they jumped a few spots and or made a move with the trade deadline approaching.

Final Thoughts

Coming off a two-game winning streak, the Timberwolves have a tough next game. They are hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder tomorrow night. Do you think that Minnesota can climb the Western Conference standings and make a run in the playoffs?
