He has the talent to be a better version of what Collin Sexton was for the Charlotte Hornets. They also added Mike Conley, who can help mold LaMelo Ball into a cleaner version of himself. The Thunder just have assets to throw around and be a part of every single deal if they want, haha. They add depth for length and size in Mason Plumblee. Chicago added pieces that will likely be flipped within the next few hours or before tomorrow’s trade deadline. Lastly, the Hornets are adding bench pieces that will help the team if they want to contend for a playoff spot this season.

Final Thoughts

This trade is nice for all parties involved. The Hornets get great value for the assets they gave up, the Bulls continue to stack talent that will be traded for future pieces, and the Thunder is involved because they have a zillion picks to shore up any holes the loaded roster might have.
