Venus, Aries, Cancer, Zodiac

Mars is finally home in Mars for the first time since 2024, and it’s going to stay there until May 17th. The planet that urges us to embrace our inner warrior is intensifying for every sign, but especially the cardinal signs. Now, although I do love a good shock to the system, it’s best to take caution during this time. Aries being in its home planet during Aries season makes this transit more potent than usual.

Check Your Impulses

Mars gives us an extra stroke of bravado and encourages us to make our dreams a reality. It’s the perfect time to stop doubting your potential and believe that you are capable of doing the seemingly impossible. However, be wise. It’s still important to be strategic and have a blueprint for your plans.

Aries expresses energy in an often too-fast, too-direct manner. It can come off as arrogant and even mean. During this time, acting before thinking is present, and honestly, that’s going to run you right into a wall or burn a bridge you had no intention of burning. Make sure you respond before you react (the therapy way of saying check yo self before you wreck yo self)  when Aries is resting in its ruling planet, Mars.

Try to tame this fire energy by engaging in physical activity if you can. Jogging, dancing, and yoga are highly encouraged. Also, get creative and do activities that make you focus and use your brain. Coloring pages, painting, and crossword puzzles. Anything that encourages you to stop, breathe, and zone in is going to help you make better decisions while Mars is in Aries.

Following Through On Your Plans

While Aries is in Mars, there can be feelings of restlessness. It’s exhilarating to finally push towards your goals, but when we don’t see the results as quickly as we like, we can lose steam during this transit. There’s a tendency to move on to something else that feels more exciting. This scattered energy may feel like there’s a lot of potential, but it doesn’t always have the ability to bring things to completion.

When you don’t consider the long-term plan required with this major astrological shift, that initial burst of confidence and boldness can result in burnout. Eventually, you might even abandon those projects and plans because you didn’t anticipate the stamina needed to finish them. Pace yourself. Just because you have the energy to do something doesn’t mean you need to exert yourself to get it done.

Start small and write down manageable tasks that don’t require sustained attention. This allows you to satisfy that impulsive energy without getting overwhelmed. Sometimes the journey is the destination. That is, if you focus too long on the end goal, you’ll miss out on the steps you had to take to get there, and who you became along the way.

Try to find a group of people who are just as down as you are about making their dreams a reality. Not only will you have shoulders to lean on when the going gets rough (and it definitely will after the new moon in Aries transit), but they could also become your accountability system. Reminding you to pause when necessary and then shift your focus back to the tasks at hand.

Despite the occasional lack of follow-through and impulsivity, when harnessed, Mars in Aries can lead to incredible achievements and bold moves that could be life-changing. It’s all about balancing this fire energy with a bit of discipline. As one of my favorite Cancers once sang, you can totally see the things you imagined in the physical world.
