Caleb Downs, NFL, NFL Draft, Ohio State, New York Giants

With the NFL Draft underway, we put out our recap for the first 10 picks earlier. This will recap picks 11-20. We’ve got some shocking falls and players who will dominate the second they step on the gridiron. Let’s dive into these future superstars of the NFL!

NFL Picks 11-20

  • 11 – Dallas Cowboys (via Miami Dolphins) – Caleb Downs S – One of the best players in the entire NFL Draft. Getting him at 11 is a steal.
  • 12 – Miami Dolphins (via Dallas Cowboys) – Kadyn Proctor OT – A strong athletic tackle who can bully defensive ends, but has issues with his ability to stay engaged. When he is locked in, Proctor is one of the best.
  • 13 – Los Angeles Rams – Ty Simpson QB – The most shocking pick of the draft. Selecting the successor to MVP Matthew Stafford this early is a surprise. However, if anyone
  • 14 – Baltimore Ravens – Vega Ioane OG – A talented guard to help bolster the interior of an offensive line that had a big loss this offseason. An excellent pick for a position of need.
  • 15 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Rueben Bain Jr. EDGE – For the majority of the NCAA season last year, Bain was the best defensive player in the nation. Getting him at 15 is great value for a team that hasn’t had this level on the d-line since Shaquil Barrett.
  • 16 – New York Jets (via Indianapolis Colts) – Kenyon Sadiq TE – The walking mismatch of the draft. Continuing to add talented weapons to a lackluster offense is fantastic. Pairing Sadiq with Garrett Wilson will be electric.
  • 17 – Detroit Lions – Blake Miller OT – A bit of a reach for me, but a position of need. Their offensive line started to take a bit of a dip over the past two seasons. Should help protect
  • 18 – Minnesota Vikings – Caleb Banks DT – Not where I expected the Vikings to go. Banks has great potential with his ability to get after the quarterback and make his presence known in the running game. This isn’t a bad pick by any means, just a little of a surprise to me.
  • 19 – Carolina Panthers – Monroe Freeling OT –
  • 20 – Philadelphia Eagles (via Dallas Cowboys – Makahi Lemon WR – The Eagles get one of the best receivers in the draft. Howie Roseman does it again. Great value in a position of need with AJ Brown’s trade pending. Giving Jalen Hurts another weapon across the line from DeVonta Smith.
