Gamble With Your Friends is just one of those games that surprises you with how enjoyable something simple can be. Sometimes a game doesn’t need cutting-edge graphics or a massive amount of hours of content to be worth playing. Sometimes all it needs is a group of friends and some questionable decision-making. Shoot, you can even make questionable decisions on your own and have fun in this game!

I think the best part about this game is the simple fact that I laugh so much anytime I play it. Sure, I usually hop on with a friend, and we enjoy the hilarious physics or the game’s overall wonky feel. Gamble With Your Friends is literally exactly what it sounds like – gambling, with your friends.

Gamble With Your Friends – A Casino Crawler?

So, the Steam page sums up this game pretty accurately. Steam lets people who are looking to potentially purchase Gamble With Your Friends, through which players can gamble through “17 different games of chance.” They also point out that there are over “15 sketchy items to fight the odds” while trying to experience “four distinctly themed casino floors.” While this is definitely more fun to play online co-op with your friends, you can still enjoy the game solo as well.

If you do find yourself playing with friends, it is important to note that you all will communicate using proximity voice chat. So if you’re in Discord or talking on another program, make sure you mute yourself so you don’t give yourself (or your friends) an aneurysm from hearing things in doubles and echoing. Of course, there are various emotes you can use, and you can even customize your character. The options there are literally one of the funnier parts of the game to me.

Speaking of price, Gamble With Your Friends is only $7.99 (USD) on Steam. With today’s cost of living, that is a steal right there. Right now through July 29, 2026, the game is only $4.95. It’s cheaper on sale or off sale than how much you will lose in the first day in the game, that’s for sure! The person who introduced me to this game considers themself to be a professional gambler in real life, but since playing this game with them, I’m starting to question that.

Why Should You Give It A Chance?

I mean, the simple fact that you are guaranteed to laugh should be enough. If not, the above-mentioned price point should be yet another reason to just say why not and get the game, because it won’t break your real bank. However, you do share a bank account with your friends when playing online co-op, and one of you is bound to break the bank in the game. That will more than likely become an open roast of one another. What better reason than to have the ability to roast your friends openly and freely? That’s just pure joy.

It is worth mentioning that Gamble With Your Friends sold more than 2 million copies in its first month! Impressive for a game that is not as well-known as most mainstream games. There is even a gamble when you first start the game up, asking the player if they feel lucky today. Clearly the developer (TEAM GWYF) and the publisher (TENSTACK) weren’t aiming for a polished, clean-cut, fancy casino simulator. Which is another reason to give it a try- it doesn’t make things too serious, just fun chaos.

It’s honestly so affordable, you could even gift it to a friend on Steam and sucker them into playing with you, too. I have a good friend, Austin, who says that I enjoy playing “burner games”, but I really don’t consider this game to be one of those. I just enjoy it too much, and not because of the gambling, but because of how much I laugh and have fun when I play it.
