There are already so many video games in Fortnite as a result of the Gaming Legends series. Quite a few iconic video game characters have been included in the Battle Royale, such as Kratos, Solid Snake, Raiden, Lara Croft, Psycho Bandit, Chun-Li, Leon S. Kennedy, Doom Slayer, Alan Wake, Aloy, Ciri, Master Chief, and countless others.
Leaks have indicated that Chapter 7 Season 3 is going to have a heavy Gaming Legends tilt. The battle pass will likely be full of new video game crossovers, some of which have been leaked as well. Here’s what we’re hoping Epic Games will include in the next season.
Fortnite Gaming Crossovers We Want to See
8. Nintendo Anything

Nintendo is highly unlikely to ever let their IP land in Fortnite. Nintendo loves exclusivity, and they do have an image to uphold, so this is a pipe dream. However, wouldn’t it be absolutely awesome if Mario, Link, Mewtwo, and other classic characters made their way into the Battle Royale game? It’s unlikely, but it would make for a hugely popular addition.
7. Sonic the Hedgehog
Good news! According to leaks, Sonic the Hedgehog is going to be included in the upcoming season. There’s already been a crossover with a Sonic car bundle, but rumors suggest a skin and more are coming. How they’ll pull that off remains to be seen (it will likely involve putting Sonic in a mech), but the blue hedgehog is one of the most beloved gaming legends ever.
6. Spyro the Dragon
Once again, this is a very tricky one to envision. Spyro doesn’t lend himself to a Fortnite skin model. He could be a glider, though. And that would be incredible. Epic Games could also get creative to bring the iconic dragon to the Battle Royale. With his new game coming out, it would probably be a popular collaboration if they could pull it off.
5. Red Dead Redemption
The relevant period for Red Dead Redemption has passed, but the second game remains one of the most popular of all time. It’s still one that millions are playing all the time, so while it’s eight years old, it still carries interest. Having Arthur Morgan or John Marston in Fortnite would be great. The models would match, and the skins would feel right at home using guns to mow down the rest of the lobby.
4. GTA
The relevant period for GTA is now, with GTA 6 finally coming out in November. What better way to drum up interest than by crossing over into the Battle Royale game? The characters would make seamless transitions, and the lawlessness of that game fits well with the lawlessness of a Fortnite match.
3. Minecraft Steve
If Steve from Minecraft can make a seamless transition into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, then why not Fortnite? The blocky design would provide a challenge for skin designers, and the height difference would be difficult, but stranger collaborations have happened. At this point, few video game characters are more recognizable and beloved than Steve, so it would be a huge hit for Epic Games.
2. Death Stranding
Death Stranding would be an interesting one because the player bases of the two games probably don’t overlap all that much. There are stranger crossovers in the Battle Royale game, though. And while we don’t know what the next season will look like, bringing in the Death Stranding guns and BTs would probably make for a really fun tweak of the gameplay.
1. Ghost of Tsushima/Yotei
The Ghost franchise is extremely popular. Yotei would probably make a whole lot more sense for a crossover, though. It’s the much more recent game, and seeing Jin Sakai use guns would probably give fans a heart attack. Meanwhile, Atsu literally uses guns, so it wouldn’t be ridiculous to see her whip out a shotgun.
