Iyo Sky will have a tall task at WrestleMania 41 as she looks to retain her Raw Women’s Championship. Her challengers? These are two of the very best that WWE has to offer. And you can’t spell “best” without EST. Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley are both challenging the champion for her title in a triple-threat match. This match has plenty of backstory and intrigue. Who will leave WrestleMania as Raw Women’s Champion? Can Bianca Belair remain undefeated at the grandest stage of them all? Will there be any outside interference?
Ripley Forces Her Way Into Match
Back at the Elimination Chamber, Bianca Belair earned the right to face the champion by winning the Chamber match. The EST of WWE outlasted five other competitors to punch her ticket to WrestleMania. The biggest surprise of the Chamber match was when Jade Cargill, Belair’s former tag team champion partner, brutally attacked Naomi before the match began. Belair sat, locked in her pod, as Cargill destroyed her former friend, causing her to be stretchered out.
To everyone’s surprise, Iyo Sky would defeat Rhea Ripley for the Women’s Title the next Monday Night Raw. Mami was obviously unhappy with the loss and had to find a different path to WrestleMania. Despite her efforts to get her title back, Ripley was distracted by the EST on multiple occasions. During the contract signing between Sky and Belair, Mami was sure to interrupt, taking matters into her own hands. She would sign her name on the contract and leave with the book, leaving Adam Pearce stunned. They would eventually add her to the match making it a triple threat match and pissing the EST off in the process.
Who Leaves With the Title?
This match has a lot of implications that could happen. This is all based on what happens on night one of WrestleMania. If Bianca Belair turns heel and joins Naomi in her match against Jade, Cargill will get her revenge on night two. Since we all know there is no disqualification in a triple-threat match, Cargill can get involved without ending the match. She can get her revenge on Bianca for siding with Naomi, leaving Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley to duke it out for the championship.
This scenario would set up a feud between Belair and Cargill, who would be arguably the two strongest women in wrestling history to face off. Ripley regains her title from Iyo Sky, giving Rhea her WrestleMania moment and proving that Mami is always on top! She is one of the most popular superstars man or woman on the roster and expect her to come out of WrestleMania victorious.
Final Thoughts
Again, the prediction is based on the night one events. If a scenario like that doesn’t happen, it will be hard to go against Bianca Belair. The EST is currently undefeated at WrestleMania with a 4-0 record. I don’t see Iyo Sky leaving with the title on Sunday. In my opinion, she is the least likely to win the match. It was shocking that WWE Creative had Rhea drop the title before the grandest stage of them all. Belair vs Ripley would have made a great one-on-one match. Plus the two are two of the most popular superstars in wrestling today.
The Jade Cargill angle would be a great one with Bianca. Not only will it give both matches more juice, but we have never seen a heel Belair. You, I, and the WWE Universe know you can’t spell WrestleMania without EST. Can she keep her mini Undertaker streak alive? Or is a storm coming? Then again, we all know, Mami is always on top!
