Cerydra is marching into Honkai: Star Rail 3.5 Phase 2 on September 4, 2025. Here we will look at her kit and what to use to build her to be the best support she can be! Most of these are leaks, but they were also confirmed from the Special Program back on August 22. Let’s take a look at what the monarch of Amphoreus has installed for us as the new Chrysos Heir.
Cerydra’s Kit and Abilites
Cerydra is a 5-Star Wind Single-Target Support Character who follows the Path of Harmony, coming to Phase 2 of 3.5. Her main focus is supporting one character and buffing them as the main DPS, allowing them to get extra attacks.
Basic Attack – King’s Castling
Deals Wind DMG equal to 100% of Cerydra’s ATK to one designated enemy target.

Skill – Pawn’s Promotion
Grants “Military Merit” to one designated ally character and gives Cerydra 1 point of Charge. Maximum Charge is 8 points. When Charge reaches 6 points, the ally character’s “Military Merit” automatically upgrades to “Peerage” and dispels their Crowd Control debuff. Characters with “Peerage” are considered to have “Military Merit” simultaneously. Increases the CRIT DMG boost for Skill DMG by 72% for characters with “Peerage,” increases All-Type RES PEN by 10%, and said characters can also trigger a Coup de Main when using their Skill on enemy targets. After Coup de Main ends, it consumes 6 points of Charge to revert “Peerage” back to “Military Merit.”
Ultimate – Scholar’s Mate
Gains 2 Charge. Deals Wind DMG equal to 240% of Cerydra’s ATK to all enemies. If there are no characters with “Military Merit” on the field, it prioritizes granting “Military Merit” to the character in position 1 in the team lineup.

Talent – Ave Imperator
The character with “Military Merit” increases ATK by an amount equal to 24% of Cerydra’s ATK. When the character uses Basic ATK or Skill, Cerydra gains 1 Charge. During Coup de Main, Cerydra cannot gain Charge. After the character with “Military Merit” uses an attack, Cerydra additionally deals 1 instance of Wind Additional DMG equal to 60% of her ATK. This effect can trigger up to 20 time(s). The trigger count resets every time Cerydra uses her Ultimate. “Military Merit” only takes effect on the most recent target. When the target changes, Cerydra’s Charge is reset to 0.
Technique – First-Move Advantage
After using Technique, gains “Military Merit.” When switching the active character, “Military Merit” transfers to the current active character. At the start of the next battle, automatically uses Skill 1 time on the character with “Military Merit” without consuming any Skill Points.
Eidolons
E1 – Seize the Crowns of All

The character with “Military Merit” ignores 16% of the targets’ DEF when dealing DMG. If “Military Merit” has been upgraded to “Peerage,” then the character additionally ignores 20% of the targets’ DEF when dealing Skill DMG. When Cerydra uses her Skill, she regenerates 2 Energy for the designated ally target.
E2 – Forge the Dreams of Many

The character with “Military Merit” deals 40% increased DMG. While a teammate on the field has “Military Merit,” Cerydra’s DMG dealt increases by 160%.
E3 – Torch the Laws of Old

Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
E4 – Remake the Realms of Men

Increases Ultimate’s DMG multiplier by 240%.
E5 – Help and Hurt Repaid in Full

Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
E6 – A Journey Set Starward

The character with “Military Merit” increases their All-Type RES PEN by 20%, and the multiplier for the Additional DMG triggered via “Military Merit” increases by 300%. While a teammate on the field has “Military Merit,” Cerydra’s All-Type RES PEN increases by 20%.
Traces
- Veni – For every 100 of Cerydra’s ATK that exceeds 2000, increases her CRIT DMG by 18%, up to a max increase of 360%.
- Vidi – Increases Cerydra’s CRIT Rate by 100%. While Cerydra’s Charge is below its maximum, Cerydra gains 1 Charge when the character with “Military Merit” uses their Ultimate. This effect can trigger once per battle.
- Vici – When using Skill, increases SPD by 20 for this unit and the teammate with “Military Merit,” lasting for 3 turn(s). When the character with “Military Merit” uses Basic ATK or Skill, regenerates 5 Energy for Cerydra.
Light Cones

“Epoch Etched in Golden Blood“
Conquer: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 64%. After using Ultimate, recovers 1 Skill Point(s). When the wearer uses their Skill on an ally character, increases DMG dealt by the target’s Skill by 54% for 3 turn(s).
Ceydra’s Light Cone has some left to be desired, it’s not something EVERYONE will use unless you want everything specifically for Ceydra. Sunday’s Light Cone might be her Best-In-Slot:

“A Grounded Ascent”
After the wearer uses Skill or Ultimate on one ally character, the wearer regenerates 6/6.5/7/7.5/8 Energy and the ability’s target receives 1 stack of “Hymn” for 3 turn(s), stacking up to 3 time(s). Each stack of “Hymn” increases its holder’s DMG dealt by 15/17.25/19.5/21.75/24%. After every 2 instance(s) of Skill or Ultimate the wearer uses on one ally character, recovers 1 Skill Point.
Ruan Mei’s Light Cone will be another good option, especially for the buffs, especially if you want to slide Break Effect’s into the mix rather than just pure damage.

“Past Self in Mirror”
Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 60/70/80/90/100%. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases all allies’ DMG by 24/28/32/36/40%, lasting for 3 turns. Should the wearer’s Break Effect exceed or equal 150%, 1 Skill Point will be recovered. At the start of each wave, immediately regenerates 10/12.5/15/17.5/20 Energy for all allies. Effects of the same type cannot stack.
Free-to-Play Light Cones

“Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds”
At the start of the battle and whenever the wearer’s turn begins, one of the following effects is applied randomly: All allies’ ATK increases by 10/12.5/15/17.5/20%, all allies’ CRIT DMG increases by 12/15/18/21/24%, or all allies’ Energy Regeneration Rate increases by 6/7.5/9/10.5/12%. The applied effect cannot be identical to the last effect applied, and will replace the previous effect. The applied effect will be removed when the wearer has been knocked down. Effects of the similar type cannot be stacked.

“Dance! Dance! Dance!”
When the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies’ actions are Advanced Forward by 16/18/20/22/24%
Relics
Best Option: Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal

2-Pc: Increases SPD by 6%.
4-Pc: When using Skill or Ultimate on one ally target, increases the ability target’s CRIT DMG by 18%, lasting for 2 turn(s). This effect can stack up to 2 time(s).
Option 2: Eagle of Twilight Line

2-Pc: Increases Wind DMG by 10%.
4-Pc: After the wearer uses their Ultimate, their action is Advanced Forward by 25%.
The next best option is to make a mix set to get a two-set, two-piece to increase ATK and SPD.
Planar Ornaments
Best Option: Lushaka, the Sunken Seas

Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, then increases the ATK of the first character in the team lineup by 12%.
Option 2: Sprightly Vonwacq

Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. When the wearer’s SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer’s action is Advanced Forward by 40% immediately upon entering battle.
Stats Priority:
- Body: ATK
- Feet Main: SPD or ATK (If you reached 4000 ATK for max usage of Veni)
- Planar Sphere: ATK
- Link Rope: Energy Regeneration Rate
Sub Stats: ATK > SPD = CRIT DMG
Teammate Recommendations
With Cerydra being a single-target support, you would want a Main DPS. Perferably someone you are willing to just give the ability to have the spotlight the entire time with your squad, obviously. One idea for DPS would include Archer from the Fate Collab, since he loves to spam his Skill, he would take full advantage of Cerydra copying his skill and making him use it multiple times. DPS would include: Phainon, Saber, Blade, Mydei, and Archer.
Supports would include: Tribbie, Pela, Jade, Silver Wolf, Sparkle. Hyselins, from Phase 1, is also a great pick since she can debuff the enemy and even apply some DoTs, if any. Anyone who helps carry steals the spotlight more. A Sub-DPS wouldn’t be bad, but rather have more support and, of course, SP-Friendly. Sustain would include really any of them; Gallagher and Luocha are SP-friendly, and HuoHuo will be yet another buff plus Sustain.
