Samsung

CES 2026 starts strong with Samsung’s The First Look AI Living showcase. Consumer device Co-CEO Tae-moon Roh (also known as TM Roh) and his experts presented their 20-year plan involving home appliances and entertainment devices with adaptive AI improvements. The upcoming technology lineup is intended to assist with a person’s lifestyle without disruptions and invasion of privacy. Here’s what Samsung has revealed about its 2026 agenda.

Reimagining A Natural Unified AI Experience

According to Roh, Samsung will integrate AI into all of its products to communicate with multi-device intelligence. It’s an adaptive ecosystem that collects data to personalize a user’s experience and updates devices continuously if it detects any behavior changes. The method combines on-device AI and Cloud AI to function properly. Roh explained, “On-device AI will be for ensuring personalization and uses real-time processing, while Cloud AI provides complex processing. Together, they create a high-performing, seamless multi-device intelligence system.”

He then shares Samsung’s mission for the future of daily life. “We believe the best AI experience should blend naturally into everyday routines. And have it to only support when needed.” Roh even established that all AI-supported devices will have privacy and digital protections with the company’s in-house security programs, Knox and Knox Matrix.

Home Appliances Enhanced To Reduce Stress

In 2022, Samsung launched its first AI-integrated home appliances with its in-house adaptable AI program, Bespoke. Their launch received negative criticism due to multiple inconsistencies, high cost, reliability issues, and poor warranty. Within three years, Bespoke grew into a trusted brand that delivered major improvements, including a stronger AI system, Wi-Fi connectivity, and improved ease of use.

Now, certain Bespoke appliances will be equipped with Samsung’s AI assistant, Bixby, and Google Gemini. Gemini will be available on smart fridges for better food recognition for grocery restocking or ingredient tracking. It will send information to the Family Hub for recipe suggestions based on what’s in your fridge. Selecting a recipe will offer a step-by-step video and convert it into a visual guide. For certain dishes, it will connect to your smart oven to preheat during meal prep.

The Bespoke Combo (All-in-One Wash & Dry) is now upgraded to handle heavier loads in a faster time. Digital Appliance Marketing Head, Liz Anderson, reported that nearly 50% of US consumers leave their laundry in the dryer for over an hour, while 40% leave it in the washer for over 4 hours. Their 2026 model will include a super-speed cycle to reduce wash and dry time. And with the AirDresser, clothes can be ironed and steamed in minutes with its auto wrinkle care for busybodies.

Last but not least, the Jet Bot Steam Ultra improves its original model with a Qualcomm Dragonwing AI chipset. The Ultra is built with a dual 3D sensor to avoid liquid spills. The robo vacuum can now be accessed by Bixby from your Samsung smartphone, making it easier to clean your home while you’re away. This model will still support pet monitoring and family interaction. However, it still can’t handle stairs.

Samsung Introduces Intelligent Care

The audience recognized that the semiconductor producer intends to expand into providing self-care information. Their virtual demos showed FoodNote identifying eating habits via camera and the Galaxy Ring detecting abnormal sleeping patterns. Digital Health Vice President, Dr. Praveen Raja, partnered with Samsung in developing intelligent care. He informed CES visitors that the method will use multi-device intelligence data to detect potential health risks, and the AI ecosystem will adapt and support the user’s wellness goals over time.

Health metrics will be sent to Samsung Health, which will offer coaching programs and share information with healthcare providers for professional assistance. The South Korean tech company will integrate intelligent care with Xealth, a digital care service that actively monitors and records health changes for doctors to continuously prepare for your clinical needs. Dr. Raja also sees this as a way to trace early signs of cognitive change.

He did notify the audience that intelligent care is not to fully replace doctors. “Our aim is not to diagnose and predict,” advised the Digital Health VP, “It’s to have supportive awareness. So, in the future, we envision analyzing data from Galaxy devices to have families decide when to seek professional help and plan care strategies to extend their well-being.”
