Las Vegas Raiders, Klint Kubiak, Seattle Seahawks, NFL

We are almost set to have a new head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. Vegas is targeting the Seattle Seahawks’ offensive coordinator, Klint Kubiak, to lead the team next season. After many interviews and meetings with teams, it appears he is destined to end up with the Raiders. Let’s dive into the expected hire!

Now, nothing can be official until after Super Bowl 60, but it appears the Raiders are going to poach the Seahawks‘ OC. Kubiak is walking into a solid situation, considering the side of the ball he specializes in. Vegas has the number one pick in this year’s draft, which will likely be Fernando Mendoza. They also have one of the best tight ends in the NFL, Brock Bowers, an electric running back in Ashton Jeanty, and Kolton Miller, who is one of the best left tackles in the league.

Will it be a Good Hire?

I believe this will be an exceptional hire, as long as Vegas’ owner is willing to go through growing pains. There will be learning experiences for a rookie quarterback and a first-time head coach. This team has talent on the offensive side of the ball. We have seen this organization turn over coach after coach. If this is the future of the team, ownership needs to relax if things get off to a rocky start.

Final Thoughts

The only issue with the job is the division the team is in. With the Raiders in the AFC West, they must contend with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Denver Broncos. What do you think of the hire? Do you think Kubiak will thrust this team into division contention, or is this the first step in a long rebuild?

As always, thank you so much for checking out my thoughts and reaction to the Las Vegas Raiders’ expectation to hire Klink Kubiak as their next head coach.
